Havoc's Summer Vacation By Kelroxor, August 31st, 2007

Summer time came and went simply too fast. Wasn't it only yesterday when we all gathered on the beaches of Stranglethorn waiting for Sagefish season to open? This summer Havoc members traveled all accross Azeroth having fun and staying cool. And what happens after a summer of vacations?

Well you subject your friends to all of your photos of course!

Keeping the druids and shamans quiet in the back seat of the Havoc mini-van started to get to our leaders though and we realized we had to find a task to focus on. Thus began our summer dragon hunt.

Its been a while since we fought any dragons, so we decided to start with something easy first. "Hey, how about this one? It can't be that hard to kill if its already dead! "

Lots of Nightbane kills, I should probably update the news more often. [Emberspur Talisman] to Vythe, Zakii and Chakkan,
[Scaled Breastplate of Carnage] to Eltorronado,
[Panzar'Thar Breastplate] to Mogoaila, [Robe of the Elder Scribes]
to Kelroxor, [Dragonheart Flameshield] to Legolace,
[Shield of Impenetrable Darkness] to Amigo,
and [Talisman of Nightbane] to Ykdeadknight's alt.

Having tried our might on a dead dragon, we figured we'd try a live one. A quick legacy night treck out to Duskwood and we came face to face with Lethon. I think we even managed to kill him without everyone dying.

No loot of note other than a
[Nightmare Engulfed Object] for Mozzle.

But we did have fun! :)

The summer was coming to a close and we still had one more dragon in our sights. We killed one dead dragon, and one live dragon, so why not kill a dragon that is neither of those. Or do I mean nether? Get it? Neither?!
... *sigh* well anyway

We found Netherspite, the chaotic Nether dragon from deep inside the Twisting Nether, deep in Medivh's abandoned tower Karazhan.

Many a mage would perish in the battle as it slowly erupted into chaos. Our healers were tanking and nuking, our nukers were tanking, and our tanks throw caution (and their shields) into the wind as one produced Grom Hellscream's axe, the mighty [Gorehowl], and started to hack away at the beast...

...in the end, we were victorious.

[Cowl of Defiance] to Zakii, [Uni-Mind Headdress] to Garunia.

Karazhan - done!

So why isn't your character in one of our summer vacation photos? Want to join us as we take down Gruul, Magtheridon, and beyond?

We are especially looking for Warlocks, Priests of any form, and a Moonkin or Restoration druid - though we always can find room for exceptional applicants of any class and build. Click here to apply or speak with Eltorronado in game for details.
